Brief Overview:
Turnkey Design, Nois-eNvelope™ Acoustic Architectural Barrier Wall System on Rooftop with Aluminum Façade.

For this Residential Development, the Architect and Acoustical Consultant required both visual and acoustical screening to hide the massive rooftop HVAC mechanical equipment, since the building was located in a densely populated but quiet urban area and environmental noise was an issue.

Working with the engineering and acoustics divisions of our sister company, dB Noise Reduction Inc., the rooftop barrier was designed to complement the architectural and aesthetic requirements. The system was engineered for structural integrity to withstand typical wind and snow loads. Engineers also designed the system for high-performance acoustics utilizing both the absorptive and sound blocking characteristics of the proprietary Nois-eNvelope™ acoustic panel system. Panels are made of galvanized (Zinc coated) steel while all structural components were Hot-dip galvanized (HDG) for longevity, to withstand Canadian weather and since the location is near water, a special Aluminum Façade layer was added to enhance the out-facing appearance of the barrier enclosure.

Canadian e Technologies also provided turnkey installation with full fabrication, shipping to site and complete rooftop completion on site.
